Suggestions welcome

Okay folks, it's that time again. That's right, Sunday is the beginning of National Novel Writing Month, or as it's known to its participants, NaNoWriMo.

What is NaNoWriMo, you ask? The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. That's about 175 pages. You "win" NaNoWriMo if you complete 50,000 words, counted by computer robots. That's it. No judging, no scores. Nobody even reads it, unless you show it to them.

You might think that sounds simple, but believe me, it is not. As my loyal followers may remember, I have tried to do this for the last 2 years and have totally wimped out both times, not even *starting* a novel, nevermind finishing one. I'm a huge perfectionist and without a good enough idea I always find myself completely unable to get started.

Which is why THIS year, I've decided to solicit story ideas. Charaters, parts of plots, anything. I've started to try to think of some on my own in advance of Nov. 1 this year, but I could use some help. So if you have any good ideas and don't mind me stealing your intellectual property, leave them in the comments section. If not, leave some encouragement for me to actually do this this year. It will be such an accomplishment if I even start it, seeing as how I've failed miserably in my last two attempts.

If you want to sign up for NaNoWriMo yourself, click here, and get ready for Sunday!
